Paralympian gold medallist Dennis Thiessen will be greeting fans in south Winnipeg this weekend.
The Sanford-based curler returned from Sochi on Tuesday to a throng of supporters and well-wishers at James Richardson International Airport.
Thiessen will appear on March 22 at the CIBC branch at 1576 Kenaston Boulevard, where he will be presented with a personalized sports pennant and a $100 gold-plated coin commemorating his participation at the Sochi Games.
Fans can meet Thiessen between 9:30-11:30 a.m.
