Manitobans can purchase their annual provincial park pass online this year.
The $40 pass enables entry into the province’s parks year-round and is also available at the usual retail outlets.
Reservations for cabins, yurts and group-use sites open Monday, March 24 for Birds Hill Park, while all other Manitoba parks begin taking bookings on Monday, April 7.
To accommodate the expected high demand on the opening day of the parks reservation system, online and call centre services will begin at 7 a.m. at prs.gov.mb.ca, (204) 948-3333 (in Winnipeg) or 1-888-482-2267. The call centre opens at 9 a.m. on all other days.
Walk-in reservations and in-person payment arrangements can be made at 200 Saulteaux Crescent in Winnipeg, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the same dates listed above.
