Federal Opposition leader Tom Mulcair is in Winnipeg today to speak at a conference hosted by the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs.
Mulcair will speak at the Resource Equity Conference, being held at the Delta Winnipeg Hotel.
The conference includes several high-profile delegates and speakers from across Canada discussing topics such as natural resources, resource equity, treaty and inherent rights — all of which concern First Nations, industries and government.
Following the conference, the NDP leader will meet with media at the Manitoba legislature this afternoon.
