R&B electro pop technician Jessy Lanza will perform at the West End Cultural Centre on May 11.
The Hamilton native is bringing her spring 2014 tour to the city with special guests. Lanza is a studied classical pianist with an undergraduate degree in jazz performance. She has broken through with her debut release which has made her a card carrying member of the R&B electronic evolution.
A trained singer and piano scholar, Lanza’s voice is the perfect accompaniment as it flutters through the synths seductively and without the over-singing and grating choruses that plague so much of contemporary pop today.
