The University of Winnipeg Wesmen women’s volleyball team has announced the commitment of Rashaan Murdock for the upcoming 2014-15 season.
The 6’0″ left side/middle comes from Lorette Collegiate and was recently named to the Volleyball Manitoba graduating all-star team after her final high school season. An accomplished club player, Murdock is currently a member of the Jr. Wesmen 18U Club team.
“This opportunity is exactly what Rashaan needs to take the next step as a student, athlete and person. We are already very pleased and so excited for what may come,” said Wesmen head coach Diane Scott.
Her future goal is to become a physical education teacher.
