One person was killed and two others were sent to hospital after a crash involving a school bus on Thursday.
The crash happened in Waywayseecappo First Nation at around 8:30 p.m. when a SUV travelling northbound on Shingoose Road collided with a southbound school bus.
RCMP say the bus was carrying four children at the time, who suffered minor injuries along with the driver.
The 40-year-old woman driving the SUV also had minor injuries, as did the 41-year-old man in the backseat. The 44-year-old man sitting in the front seat had serious injuries and later died at Russell Hospital.
Alcohol is considered a factor in the collision. Neither passenger in the SUV was wearing a seatbelt.
