The rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar is coming to Winnipeg this summer.

Brandon Boyd is confirmed for the role of Judas Iscariot, JC Chasez will play Pontius Pilate, Michelle Williams will take the female lead as Mary Magdalene, English singer-songwriter John Rotten Lydon will play King Herod and British actor and singer Ben Forster will revive his role as Jesus.
Ticket presales begin Monday, April 7. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, April 11 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $39.50 to $217.
