Jaden Prive of Lord Selkirk Regional Secondary School will suit up for the Winnipeg Wesmen men’s volleyball team in September.
The 6’5″ blocker has committed to the university squad for the 2014-15 Canada West season and was named to the Manitoba Volleyball Association’s graduating all-star team this past season.
Prive was a member of the 2013-2014 Selkirk Royals team that captured the AAAA Provincial Championship and was on the team that appeared in the 2012-2013 Provincial Finals.
“Jaden is a quiet player who lets his performance speak for itself. He is hardworking, reliable, consistent and very much a team oriented player. He is a character young man and a pleasure to coach,” Prive’s club coach Dan Dulder said.
