Adventure is the theme of this year’s TEDxManitoba conference in Winnipeg.
The locally-organized gathering of some of Manitoba’s top inspirational minds will return to the Tom Hendry Warehouse Theatre on Thursday, June 12.
“Using the Adventure theme, we’re looking for speakers who will take it to the next level,” said Nicole Jensen, TEDxManitoba 2014 chair. “What is it like doing something you’ve never done before? Maybe it’s an Alice in Wonderland experience, extreme sports or setting out as an explorer into unchartered territory. We expect our line-up will once again stimulate the minds of our attendees and offer the opportunity for discussion long after we are done.”
A call for speaker nominations is now open to attract those with a remarkable idea worth spreading or someone who has brought about a significant change by reconsidering their field, their workplace or their neighbourhood.
A limited number of 100 guests will be able to attend the conference in-person, but thousands more tune in online via the live stream. The application process to attend will open soon.
