A spring hockey session for women wanting to enter the sport begins this evening.
Women’s Hockey Fundamentals is being held at Canlan Ice Sports and is a weekly one-hour session held every Tuesday until June 17.
“There are many women out there who have always wanted to learn how to play hockey, or even just improve their skating. So we offer sessions where women can learn alongside other women, in a really fun environment,” said Bryan Vincent of Canlan Ice Sports.
The session is open to any skill level for participants 16+. The cost is $209 and full hockey equipment is mandatory.
