The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed a pair of Canadians to their roster.
Offensive lineman Eric Armitage and defensive back Kevin Prempeh will join the Blue and Gold for the 2014 season.
Armitage was drafted in the seventh round, 56th overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the 2013 CFL Draft. The London, Ontario native attended training camp with Saskatchewan but was released prior to the start of the season. Armitage played university football at Western Ontario, and played in seven games in 2012, his third and final season with the Mustangs.
Prempeh played his college football at the University of Concordia and registered 32 solo tackles, two interceptions and nine pass knockdowns in 22 games. The Scarborough, Ontario native played three seasons at Concordia, with his best season coming in 2013, when he recorded 13 tackles, one interception and four pass knockdowns, in eight games.
