A 23-year-old woman has succumbed to her injuries after being hit by a car in downtown Winnipeg last weekend.
Friends have identified the victim as Amy Gilbert on Facebook.
Police say Gilbert had been crossing the eastbound lanes of Broadway at Donald when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle at around 5:30 p.m.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene, but later released without charge.
The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition and later downgraded to critical.
