Teen Dies After Being Injured in North End

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police are investigating an Easter weekend homicide after a 17-year-old male was found injured in the North End.

The teen was found shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday in the area of Dufferin Avenue and Salter Street suffering from upper body injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he later died.

A second victim, an 18-year-old man, was located nearby and taken to hospital in critical condition.

UPDATE: Monday, April 21 — The 18-year-old man has since been upgraded to stable condition.
