The Manitoba Bisons have selected Michele Hynes to lead the Bison women’s basketball team on a permanent basis.
The interim head coach has guided the Bisons for the last two CIS seasons and received the appointment on Friday.
“Throughout the search process, Michele displayed a clear vision as well as a high level of expertise and enthusiasm that will be vital for the continued advancement of Bison women’s basketball,” said Bison Sports athletic director Coleen Dufresne.
Hynes, 26, completed her five-year university playing career with the Manitoba Bisons in 2010.
The Millgrove, ON native has a bachelor of kinesiology from the U of M and is currently enrolled in faculty of engineering.
