Winnipeg police are looking for two men in relation to two separate incidents involving children on Friday evening.
Police say the first incident happened around 5 p.m. when a six-year-old girl was followed by an unknown vehicle. She was outside playing in the area of McCalman Avenue and Chester Street at the time. The girl was walking along the sidewalk outside her home when she got to the intersection and turned back. The driver made a U-turn and continued to follow her until she ran home.
The driver is described as a brown male with black hair. He was driving a blue truck.
Later at around 8 p.m., police say a seven-year-old girl reported being offered a ride in the area of Sanford Fleming Road and Plessis Road. The unknown man driving a truck also offered the girl candy. She immediately ran and notified her parents.
The driver is described as a Caucasian male between 20-30 years of age. He was driving a new model white four-door vehicle at the time.
