The Winnipeg Public Library has launched an engagement process to help shape its future for a new five-year strategic plan.
Called Inspiring Ideas, input will be gathered from the public from now until the end of June.
Noted library visionary and author, Ken Roberts, launched the engagement process Monday during an event at The Met.
“We are really excited about the opportunity to hear what the public has to say and are encouraging Winnipeggers to get involved by going to the “Inspiring Ideas” website and help shape the future of the Winnipeg Public Library,” said Rick Walker, manager of library services.
Through the process, the city will review its library collections, spaces and services. Input can be submitted in-person at upcoming library-led events, or online.
