Urban Capital has chosen Bockstael Construction to build the new Glasshouse Skylofts project in downtown Winnipeg.

“Wherever we go across Canada, we prefer to work with local construction companies who have the knowledge and expertise that is specific to their market and their environment,” said David Wex of Urban Capital. “In Winnipeg, Bockstael Construction is a family-owned company with a reputation for quality and reliability, having worked on some of the signature projects in Winnipeg, over their 100 year history.”

The 21-storey, $130 million Glasshouse building will see construction begin in June directly across from MTS Centre at 311 Portage Avenue.

Condos range from 435 square feet for a one-bedroom unit, to 822 square feet for a two-bedroom, with prices varying from $190,000 to $340,000.

Amenities include a boutique hotel-style lobby, outdoor terrace and rooftop lounge on the 21st floor, a private screening room and exercise room.
