Winnipeg Blue Bombers LogoThe Winnipeg Blue Bombers have sold 20,150 season tickets before the start of the 2014 CFL season.

Blue Bombers president and CEO Wade Miller says he’s pleased with the pace the club is moving at, despite the slight dip.

“We anticipated heading into this year that we would see a bit of a drop off as people purchased season tickets to see the new stadium last season. But we are pleased with the progress, and we are on target to hit the numbers we were expecting.”

Miller said the drop in season ticket numbers won’t affect the club’s bottle line, as it worked the projected numbers in their 2014 budgets.

The Bombers also announced they will hold their annual Fan Forum on May 12 in the Pinnacle Club at Investors Group Field at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Fans are asked to enter through the Bomber Store. Free parking is available in the lot immediately outside the store.
