Winnipeg police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot outside of a downtown bar.
The shooting occurred at around 2 a.m. Sunday in the area of Bannatyne Avenue and Main Street outside of Opera Ultralounge.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Police say a group of men were involved in a confrontation before the shooting occurred.
Police believe it’s possible other victims were also involved.

UPDATE: Monday, May 5 — Police have identified the victim as 23-year-old Rustom Vito Paclipan of Winnipeg. Police say two more men, aged 18 and 24, also received non-life-threatening injuries during the incident.
