The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Canada Soccer are picking up the tab to shuttle fans to the Canada vs. USA women’s soccer game on Thursday at Investors Group Field.
The free fan fare service will provide a ride to any fan with a ticket and make use of Winnipeg Transit and the park and ride system.
“We’re excited to support the fans coming to Investors Group Field for the soccer match by offering a reliable and safe option for transportation, which is also great for the environment,” said Blue Bombers President and CEO Wade Miller.
For those driving to the game, on-campus parking will be available on the evening of the match beginning 90 minutes before the opening kickoff.
A $10 carpool lot will be open off of University Crescent for any vehicle with three or more passengers. All other on-campus lots are $20. Passes are available for cash purchase at the lots or online at Ticketmaster.
