WestJet has finally caught up on the mobile front by launching an official smartphone app.
The free download for iPhone and Passbook will allow guests to manage all of their travel logistics while on the go.
“The WestJet iPhone app is another step forward in continuously improving overall guest experience,” said Marshall Wilmot, WestJet vice-president of product and distribution, in a release. “We know guests have been asking for an iOS option for some time. The WestJet iPhone app, the result of a strong collaboration between users and development experts, delivers functionality and features relevant to every traveller.
The app’s features include the ability to book new flights, add existing reservations, check in for upcoming flights and get flight status information.
