Booster Juice
Winnipeg media and local sports celebrities will do their best to create a tasty smoothie concoction today.
In support of the Society for Manitobans with Disabilities (SMD) Foundation/Easter Seals Manitoba, Booster Juice will guide celebs through the smoothie-making process in the food court of St. Vital Centre.
Participants include Winnipeg Blue Bombers Mike Renaud and Paul Swiston, Olympian Susan Auch, Drew Kozub of “Breakfast Television,” Shawn Churchill of CTV, and Mike Koncan of Global Winnipeg.
Judges include Doug Speirs from the Winnipeg Free Press, comedian Big Daddy Tazz and local Booster Juice owner Graham Taylor.
Booster Juice will donate $1 from every smoothie sold today to support the cause, which helps fund programs and services for more than 47,000 Manitobans with disabilities each year.
The competition runs from noon to 1 p.m.
