Hockey fans will get up close with a homegrown Olympian this evening.
Manitoba’s Jocelyne Larocque, who won gold at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, will be greeting young, aspiring hockey players at Kid City from 6-8 p.m.
Larocque will be on hand to sign autographs, take pictures and greet the kids who love Canada’s national past time.
All those in attendance are encouraged to bring a gently used sports equipment donation for KidSport Manitoba.
Kid City is located at 550 Archibald Street.
