Winnipeg Blue Bombers LogoThe Winnipeg Football Club recorded an annual operating profit of $2.9 million during the first season at Investors Group Field.

The Blue Bombers sold just under 24,620 season tickets last season, generating $8.6 million and a 35% increase over 2012.

“We are pleased with the financial results for 2013 and look forward to improving upon them as we continue to settle into our new home at Investors Group Field,” said Blue Bomber President and CEO Wade Miller.

Overall, the Bombers pulled in $2.2 million more than two years ago during the final season at Canad Inns Stadium.

“Our fans and corporate partners are the lifeblood of this organization and their support has been unwavering,” Miller added. “We have put a strong focus on our football operations this past off-season and are confident we will enjoy a revived, competitive product on the field this year that we can all be excited about.”
