Portage la Prairie Break-In Thwarted by Security

RCMP Crest LogoA break-in at Enns Brothers Powersports in Portage la Prairie was quickly thwarted by on-site security and RCMP over the weekend.

Police received a report of suspicious people on the property on May 11 at around 1 a.m.

Officers immediately responded and located two men who were seen earlier on video surveillance.

Jonathan Bernard Pritchard, 25, and Ted Warren Wright, 43, both from Esterhazy, Saskatchewan, have been charged with possession of break-in instruments and attempting to steal machinery.

Both were released on a promise to appear in Portage la Prairie court on June 30.
