Two Winnipeg teams will be competing on the upcoming season of HGTV’s “Buy It Fix It Sell It.”
The new Canadian-made series is a challenge in fixing up homes and turning them into a masterpiece for maximum profit.
Each episode features a group of professional ‘fixers’ battling over items at auction before radically revamping each piece with spectacular reveals. The show comes to life through the tense and confrontational relationships of the people making their living in this industry.
Winnipeg contestants include:
- Paul “Willy” Williamson aka “The Junkman”: His love of all things auto means restoring, reviving, and restructuring rust into man candy.
- Mike and Joe Wolchock aka “The Neon Bros”: An auction dream team and lifelong pickers, these brothers know a bargain when they see one and have the vision and mad skills to follow suit. Their Neon Factory is famous for one-of-a-kind pieces, signs, art, and advertising.
The new series airs Fridays at 9 p.m. CT (10 p.m. ET) beginning May 23.
