Two search warrants executed in Sandy Bay First Nation and Amaranth, Manitoba has resulted in several people being charged with drug-related offences.
RCMP carried out the raids last Friday at a home in the 200 block of Centre Road and at a business in the 100 block of Kinosota Road in Amaranth.
Police found approximately 14 grams of cocaine, cash, trafficking paraphernalia and a cell phone.
Seven people from Sandy Bay First Nation have been charged with possession of proceeds of crime and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
One of the charged was to appear in court today while the six remaining are scheduled to appear on June 17.
