The University of Winnipeg has announced the commitment of Blair Orr to its men’s basketball program.
Orr, a 6’8″ forward from Camarillo, California, averaged nine points, 11 rebounds and two blocks for the El Camino Wildcats out of Oceanside.
“His size and skill will be a valuable addition to our team. His academic achievement thus far is great example of his work ethic and diligence,” said Wesmen head coach Mike Raimbault.
Orr was named an all-tri-valley second team all-star this past season and was an honourable mention in 2013.
Orr will begin his student-athlete Wesmen career when the Canada West season begins in September.
