Members of Winnipeg’s media indulged in pure gluttony on Thursday during the University of Manitoba Bisons’ 10th annual Media Wing Off contest.
The objective? Chomp down on the most killer hot wings in five minutes for the title of champion.
The yearly tradition at Smitty’s Restaurant is held to end the Bisons’ regular season and look ahead to the fall.
This year’s winner was a two-time champion, with Adam West of Energy 106 packing 40 wings and taking the title for the second year in a row.
