Local rowers have readied themselves for the busy summer rowing season and the Red River has ample space for them.
The Winnipeg Rowing Club will show off what it’s known for on Saturday, May 31 when it hosts an open house.
The public is invited to come out and see what the WRC has to offer, whether you’re interested in recreational rowing, or exploring the potential of a competitive sport, the club has many options available for all ages.
Three programs are open to those wanting to explore the sport, including adult learn-to-row sessions, youth summer camps, and a community rowing challenge.
The open house will run from noon to 4 p.m. at 20 Lyndale Drive.
