Riding Mountain National Park has opened all of its campgrounds for the season.
More than 400 serviced and unserviced sites are available for booking at the Wasagaming Campground, including 10 oTENTiks, which is a spacious wood and canvas framed structure that can sleep six.
“Spring and summer is a special time for our visitors. We have a full complement of services and programs available and we invite visitors to discover what Riding Mountain National Park has to offer,” said RMNP superintendent Michaela Kent.
Lakeside campsites are available at Lake Audy, Whirlpool Lake, Moon Lake and Deep Lake. For horse enthusiasts, Lake Audy also features a corral facility to serve as home base while visitors explore the backcountry on horseback or horse drawn wagons.
