Those looking to beat the spring heat this weekend can cool off in one of Winnipeg’s spray pads beginning on Saturday.
The city will open 11 spray pads to the public two days earlier than scheduled.
Facilities will operate from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily throughout the summer, including:
- Central Park
- St. Norbert Community Centre
- Lindenwoods Community Centre
- St. James Assiniboia Centennial Pool
- Provencher Park
- Transcona Centennial Pool
- River East (Peguis Trail Health & Fitness Centre)
- River Heights Community Centre
- Shaughnessy Park
- Westdale Community Centre
- Vimy Ridge Memorial Park
The Fort Rouge Park spray pad opening is delayed due to required mechanical repairs.
