Woman Charged After Partner Stabbed to Death in Pukatawagan

RCMP Crest LogoA 36-year-old man has died after being stabbed in Pukatawagan, Manitoba.

The incident happened Thursday night at a residence in the community, sending the victim to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

RCMP have charged Henrietta Bear, 35, with second-degree murder. The victim, who was the common-law husband of the woman, has been identified as Lanny Dumas.

Bear will make her first court appearance June 2 in Pukatawagan.
