The Winnipeg Art Gallery is offering free admission until June 18 for youth 18 and under.
The WAG is encouraging youth to see what art is all about, particularly its exhibit 7: Professional Native Indian Artist Inc.
The exhibit is a groundbreaking 1970s artist collective that self-organized to demand recognition as professional, contemporary artists.
Officials hope to engage people in art and waiving admission for a limited time is one way of doing that.
