Construction on the Nairn Avenue overpass will begin Friday, June 13.
Work will be carried out in a staged manner to minimize traffic disruption. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained during the project from Watt/Archibald Street to Grey Street.
Work will include reconstructing the bridge abutment backwalls, expansion joints and approach slabs at both ends of the bridge.
Pedestrian traffic on one sidewalk of the bridge will remain accessible at all times.
The city expects construction to last until November 2014.
