The City of Winnipeg is getting ready for summer by preparing to open swimming and wading pools.
The Kildonan Park outdoor pool will open Monday, June 16 for the summer season, with all other outdoor city pools scheduled to open Friday, June 27.
Pools operate seven days a week, weather permitting.
The city’s 15 wading pools will open on Tuesday, July 1 for the season, with the remaining locations to open Wednesday, July 2.
Operating hours vary by wading pool, but most are open from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Spray pads are already open and operate daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. until September 1.
