Close to 20 vendors will have their wares for sale when the Wolseley Farmers’ Market opens June 17.
The third annual market attract roughly 500 patrons to the community on a weekly basis, shopping for local and regional foods, natural products and crafts.
“With the hopes for great weather, we are pleased to offer an opportunity for even more vendors to participate in this market,” said Anne-Marie Williot, market coordinator.
Opening day will include puppeteer Estee Taylor, violinist Claudine St. Arnauld with violin group “Les Cordes À Danser,” and chalk artist Marcus Bauer with kids activities.
The seasonal market will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7 p.m. at the R.A. Steen Community Centre, 980 Palmerston Avenue.
