A 28-year-old Winnipeg man has been charged following an alleged sexual assault on a 14-year-old girl in Elmwood.
Police say the girl was walking in the area of Talbot Avenue and Watt Street on June 2 when she was approached by an unknown man who called himself “Nick.”
The victim accompanied the man to his residence in the 300 block of Harbison Avenue, where police say two serious sexual assaults took place.
The teen was able to flee the home and notified a parent.
Nicholas Raymond Serbyniuk has been charged with multiple offences and remains in custody.
