The University of Winnipeg is graduating 1,024 students today and Thursday, including awarding five honorary doctorates.
Students from theology, marriage and family therapy, education and kinesiology will be graduating, as well as 31 with masters degrees.
The university will bestow former prime minister Jean Chrétien with an honorary Doctor of Laws. John and Bonnie Buhler, and Robert J. Sawyer will receive similar honours.
David Moroni is receiving an honorary Doctor of Letters.
The convocations are being streamed live today at 2:30 p.m. and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
