The Winnipeg Blue Bombers are making it easier for non-profit groups to fundraise at games for the 2014 season.
Groups can now work as parking lot attendants for on-campus lots and park and ride locations for 2.5 hours on game days and during special events. Additional opportunities will be available at concession stands inside the stadium.
More than $150,000 was raised last season for non-profits through the Bombers’ fundraising partnership program.
Community outreach groups, youth sports teams, religious organizations and civic groups with energetic and enthusiastic people are urged to contact the Bombers by e-mailing npo@bluebombers.com.
Registered groups can work as early as June 26, when Winnipeg hosts their first regular season game against the Toronto Argonauts.
