Bike-Riding Sexual Assault Suspect Sought by Winnipeg Police

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police are looking for a suspect believed to be responsible for three separate sexual assaults on Tuesday.

In all three instances, the female victims were approached by an unknown man riding a bike.

The first happened around 9 a.m. in the area of Munroe Avenue and Besant Street when a 14-year-old girl was touched inappropriately. The man was scared off by a witness and fled.

Then at 11:30 a.m., a 17-year-old girl was inappropriately touched in the area of Roch Street and Sydney Avenue.

Later at around 2 p.m., a 21-year-old woman walking in the area of Manhattan Avenue and Grey Street was touched when the man tried to strike up a conversation with her.

None of the victims were physically hurt in the incidents.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late teens to early 20s, between 5’8″-6’ tall with a thin athletic build and short black hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt with ‘KEC’ on the back and jeans. He was riding a small, dark bike.
