Centerplate, the food-service and hospitality provider at MTS Centre, will continue to serve arena-goers for the foreseeable future.
True North Sports & Entertainment has renewed a long-term partnership with the company following a 10-year deal.
Centerplate will continue offering event catering, retail food and beverage sales and hospitality services for all general admissions areas, premium clubs and suites, and special events. It has also established a variety of permanent and signature hospitality concepts at the MTS Centre, such as “Local 204,” featuring all-natural burgers, signature poutine, and other tastes of the region.
“This partnership has assisted in creating countless customer interactions—from providing our famous Jet Dogs to hockey fans or popcorn and candy floss to smiling faces at our family events, to the fine dining and cuisine featured in our suites and restaurant,” said Kevin Donnelly, senior vice-president of venue and entertainment at MTS Centre.
True North says fans can expect more fan-driven amenities throughout the building for the 2014-15 NHL season as it builds on its partnership with Centerplate.
