Children aboard a school bus in Steinbach weren’t injured Monday morning when a pickup truck collided with it.
RCMP responded to the corner of Highway 52 and Rockwood Street at around 8:30 a.m. where they say the bus was hit when attempting a U-turn across two eastbound lanes on Rockwood.
Fifteen children and the 73-year-old male driver weren’t injured.
The 19-year-old man driving the pickup and two 31-year-old passengers were treated for minor injuries in hospital. Police say the passengers weren’t wearing seatbelts at the time.
