The Winnipeg Arts Council is taking art lovers on guided tours of the city’s many public artworks this summer.
Public Art Tours will be offered on bike and by foot beginning Wednesday and running through September 6.
The tours will be venturing through the central regions to learn about popular and well-known works such as emptyful in the Millennium Library Park, as well as down less-traveled routes to favourites such as Monument in St. Boniface and land/mark in St. Vital. Tours will take place at night, in the afternoon, and over lunch hours.
The tours are free, but space is limited. See the dates at WinnipegArts.ca or call (204) 943-7668 to book a spot.
