RCMP in Portage la Prairie seized a number of guns on June 13.
The National Weapon Enforcement Support Team executed a search warrant in the first block of 7th Street, where they seized various types of ammunition and seven long guns.
A prohibition hearing is being sought against a 21 year-old man from Portage.
Police are continuing to investigate.
