Man Dies After Found on Roadside in Red Sucker Lake

RCMP Crest LogoA 30-year-old man from Red Sucker Lake has died after being found on the side of the road Wednesday morning.

Local band constables found Clayton Harper suffering from injuries sustained in an altercation at around 3 a.m. He was taken to the local nursing station, then transferred to Winnipeg’s Health Sciences Centre where he succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy has been performed and police are continuing to investigate.

No further details have been made available.

Red Sucker Lake is an Oji-Cree First Nation located about 706 km northeast of Winnipeg.
