Two male youths are facing a combined 34 charges after allegedly stealing multiple quads on Tuesday.
RCMP in Portage la Prairie received a report just after 6 a.m. of the theft. Three vehicles were stolen from the Portage area, while another was stolen from the Westbourne area.
With help from Amaranth RCMP, “D” Division Police Dog Services and Sandy Bay Dakota Ojibway Police Service, police apprehended the suspects and recovered the stolen quads.
Two male youths, one from Sandy Bay First Nation and the other from Portage la Prairie, were arrested.
Police continue to investigate.
