Police Pull Man’s Body from Assiniboine River

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police pulled the body of a man out of the Assiniboine River on Friday morning.

Officers were called to the area of Wolseley Avenue and Dominion Street at around 11:30 a.m. for the report of a possible body floating in the river.

An autopsy is pending and identification has not yet been made.

No further information has been released.
