Riding Mountain National Park (CHRISD.CA FILE)
To celebrate Clear Lake and all that it has to offer, Parks Canada is hosting an event on Saturday in Riding Mountain National Park.
Clear Lake Celebration Day will showcase recreational opportunities, scientific research, and environmental protection.
Activities include the Great Canadian Water Fight, Manitoba Conservation’s mobile boat wash station demonstration, interpretation experiences, the Parks Canada discovery dome, ultimate frisbee tournament, and live music.
“The fun, festivities and special events are ways to celebrate the work that has been done to protect the lake and focus on the work still to be done for the benefit of future generations,” said Michaeala Kent, superintendent of RMNP.
Festivities run from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
