Supporters of the Winnipeg Art Gallery will dine in the permanent collection galleries during the annual Gallery Ball this fall.
The black-tie event on October 18 is a fundraiser for the WAG’s kids programs.
“Each year thousands of young people in Manitoba enjoy the WAG’s kids programs that share the joys of creativity and encourage a love for the arts,” said WAG director and CEO Dr. Stephen Borys. “Through art classes, school visits, family Sundays, summer art camps, and more, kids have the chance to experience all that art has to offer.”
Guests will be treated to live entertainment, delectable cuisine, and a new dance floor in a dream-like atmosphere, not unlike the Salvador Dali paintings that will be on view in the Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery exhibition.
Tickets are $300 each or $3,500 for a corporate table of eight, available at galleryball.wag.ca or the WAG front desk (300 Memorial Boulevard), by calling 204.789.1765, or e-mailing events@wag.ca.
